Spring/Summer 2019 Inspiration

Our Spring/Summer 2019 Mini Collection is finally here! With it's release, I wanted to share the inspiration behind the collection. My spring collections are typically inspired by things on my "seasonal" bucket list, like an activity to do or a place to visit. Occasionally they will be inspired by a color, or even a particular fabric.
The collection for this season was inspired by my love for picnics and spending time outdoors with friends with great conversation. While I don't get to have a picnic often, they are something I love to do once it gets warm outside. It's such a low key and low budget way to spend time with friends and do something a little different. Even gatherings on the patio are a favorite of mine too. I wanted this collection to offer pieces that you wear on these occasions so you could feel come comfortable yet feminine-whether its a girls Friday afternoon picnic or Saturday night dinner party on the patio. The entire collection is made of 100% cotton so it will be breathable on warmer days under the sun. The collection offers nods to 50's inspired silhouettes and square necklines from the Renaissance era for a look that is feminine yet current. I love a good spring plaid, but kept it in a pastel color way to keep a light and airy feeling, caught in the breeze feeling. Keep scrolling for more inspiration images.
